Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ExamReady collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Last updated: July 3, 2026

1. Who we are

ExamReady (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the ExamReady platform, which provides free and premium mock exams — including AI-graded writing and speaking feedback — for IELTS, MULTILEVEL, SAT, Teacher Attestation, DTM, and other certifications. This policy applies to your use of our website and services.

If you have any questions about this policy or your data, you can reach us on Telegram.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image from Google instead of a password.
  • Exam activity — the exams you take, your answers, scores, band results, timing, and progress, so we can grade your work and show your history.
  • Writing and speaking submissions — the essays you type and the audio you record for speaking practice, which are processed to generate feedback and stored so you can review them.
  • Learning Center data — if you join a learning center with a code, we link your account to that center so your teacher can see your practice results.
  • Optional contact links — if you connect Telegram for study reminders, we store your Telegram chat identifier.
  • Technical data — basic information your browser sends automatically, such as device and log data, used to keep the service secure and working.

3. How we use your information

  • Create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
  • Deliver mock exams and record your attempts, scores, and progress over time.
  • Generate AI feedback on your writing and speaking submissions.
  • Run streaks, goals, and study reminders you opt into.
  • Provide learning-center teachers with the practice results of their linked students.
  • Communicate with you about your account, results, and important service updates.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the platform.

4. AI grading and third-party services

To provide the service we share limited data with trusted providers who process it on our behalf. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

  • AI grading — the text of your essays and the content of your speaking submissions are sent to a trusted third-party AI provider to generate feedback and estimated scores. Do not include sensitive personal information in your answers.
  • Audio storage — speaking recordings are stored securely so you can play them back.
  • Email — used to send account emails such as verification and password resets.
  • Authentication — if you choose to sign in with Google, we use Google to verify your identity.
  • Messaging — only if you link Telegram for reminders.
  • Hosting & infrastructure — our application hosting and database providers.

Each provider only receives the data necessary for its function and is expected to handle it under its own terms and privacy commitments.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are essential to the service — for example, a session cookie to keep you signed in and a cookie that remembers your language preference. We do not use advertising cookies.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and exam data for as long as your account is active so your history and progress remain available to you. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal data, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

7. Your rights

You can:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate account information from your profile.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
  • Withdraw optional integrations, such as unlinking Telegram reminders.

To exercise any of these rights, reach us on Telegram.

8. Security

Passwords are stored hashed, connections are encrypted in transit, and access to data is restricted. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

9. Children’s privacy

ExamReady is intended for exam candidates. If you are under the age of majority in your country, please use the service with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or teacher. If you believe a child has provided us personal data without appropriate consent, contact us and we will address it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the service.
